Writing beats anorexia

Hi everyone!

Woke up this morning and realized I am living my dream life already. Although not being well-paid yet, I am writing for a living. Right now I have two bosses, one from UK and the other one from Singapore. They are my main clients. And oh, I have a side hustle with Primetalk. I’m one of their part-time on-line English teachers. (So that means I have three bosses…)

Anyway.

The writing is keeping me away from the food hoarding and the anorexia.

Life is too short to count calories.

Writing is therapeutic and fun.

Writing is my life-saver.

I write about addictions and industrial relations and last week, my head hurt with terms like “epistemology” and “ontology” and “pedagogy”.

Last week my boss asked me to do something utterly alien to me: go to the backend of a WordPress site and input my content. I was able to do it, and I made my British boss laugh with my self-critical comments.

I am Significant! I have Skills! I am Wanted!

This sure beats anorexia.

It sure beats anorexia.

I’m off to the Manila International Book Fair. Gonna get my copy of The Freelancer’s Bible for Pinoys by Robbie Lorenzo.

Need to know how to navigate this thing called “Freelance Writer Life.”
